Just a quick note to let you know what some of the artists are up to for November. I promise to write something for the December Newsletter.

Katherine Dunn has a few paintings and prints specially priced for the holidays. You can even commission a painting of your pet!

Tera Leigh has been featured in an article on Family Heirlooms in the November issue of Real Simple magazine, on newsstands the first week of November. She can also be seen in the upcoming season of "DIY Scrapbooking" on the DIY television network, with shows launching in November. Go to DIY Network click on "crafts" and type "tera leigh" into the search engine to find show and show times in you area.

Alicia Paulson of Posie has a new blog about the business of designing, making, and selling her little things, and is introducing a trunk show series at her Portland, Oregon, boutique, Ella Posie. Please email for guidelines and application.

Sharyn Sowell is absolutely tickled pink about the release of her first book, Papercutting for Scrapbooks and Cards, coming out this month from Sterling/Chapelle Publishers. QVC has a scrapbooking pocket and embellishment kit currently featured, and lamps decorated using rubber stamps she designed for All Night Media are featured in the fall Better Homes' & Gardens' 10 Best Decorating Ideas for under $100. Christmas rubber stamps from All Night Media, dishes from BIA Cordon Bleu, and an upcoming line of innovative scrapbooking products also have her saying, "Pinch me! Life's too good to be true!"
